3.5" Salbel Effects Bell
This is a 3.5" (yes, I know its small) bell cymbal that Saluda calls a SalBel. This little bell has a few different uses (see pictures for a better idea). The bell was mainly designed to use inside your bottom hi-hat to give a special shimmer when opening a closing. When you close your hats, the SalBel starts rattling on the bottom hat so when you open the hats back up, you can hear it. It is a very cool sound.
This has a mini bell on it to fit inside almost any bottom hat, you can even flip it over if you use a flat bottom style hat. This will add a sizzle effect to your hats. You can even remove and add this in between songs!
This can also be used as a regular bell (best when used upside down and with very small felts so it won't choke the sound). Next, you can use it in stacks in a combination of different uses. If you don't have one of these inside your hi-hats, you are missing out on an amazing effect sound!
