This auction is for one incredible Romanian violin in almost perfect condition! It was made in Romania within the last 24 years and has no cracks, scratches, or rubbing marks except tiny ones of no significance.
It has been been played lightly, and has a phenominal solid and confident feel to it! The violin has a rich, warm tone on the lower scales, and solid clear response on the higher tones. A new ebony chinrest was installed the day I got it years ago.
This is my 'practice' violin and has been stored in my room for years.
The varnish is exceptionaly nice and shaded beautifully from a reddish-brown hue to a golden yellow. It shows that this violin was always stored in a clean and humid environment. The label was delibrately defaced by a previous owner but is clearly a Strad style.
The volin has Pirastro Tonica G, D, and A strings, while a medium-gauge Red Label E string is used. The player is encouraged to experiment with different strings to find what suits him or her best.
This is a a great violin for any level player and should not disappoint you. Please note how I ship violins in the shipping section below. The bow pictured in one pic is long gone thus, not included. I've used Brazil wood,pernambuco,carbon fibre and have never been anything but satisfied with this violin. It's a good one. Thanks for looking and bidding!!

For those who don't know me, I have been collecting violins, mandolins, and guitars for many years. Unfortunately, bad health has caught up with me and I must auction my instruments. Most were set up for play immediately and were never touched since. My vintage models have not even been cleaned so they have a lot of beauty and more alluring notes left in them then I have left in me. I just have finally realized I can't play anymore. I try to use many pictures at my expense so you will only have pleasant surprises if any at all.
PAYMENT TYPES ACCEPTED
We accept payment via Paypal (CONFIRMED ADDRESS ONLY), cashier's check, and money order. Personal checks means your item will not ship until check clears our bank (typically2 weeks) NO EXCEPTIONS.
SHIPPING POLICY
We ship via USPS and we do require insurance for your item which is usually included in shipping quote for US bidders.
We only ship via USPS INSIDE the 48 continental United States. No exceptions!!! Except to Canada, UK, and other countries at our own discretion (Contact us before bidding!!)
We will not ship to Indonesia or Nigeria! All violins will be packaged carefully and will be shipped with the bridge up or lying flat over the soundpost so the soundpost will not shift and breakage occurs. If the soundpost should become dislodged during shipment, it is the buyers sole responsibility to have it reset. This is the safest and least troublesome way to ship.
