This is either Chinese or Korean. It is Chocolate in color & weighs 5 lbs. on the bathroom scale. I bought this for the neck that was on it, so I don't need the body. The headstock said Kapok. It is made of compressed paper ! A previous owner has drilled out a bunch of material under the pickguard, I guess to remove some weight. It had a nice p-bass tone put together with pretty good sustain. The bridge under the ashtray is the standard p-bass type & has been moved at some point. The ashtray covers the extra holes. The pickups are included, but no other controls or jack. It had been dropped in the past, shoving the strap button the body, causing a hairline crack, shown in the closeup. This didn't affect playability. The neck pocket is 2 1/2 wide at the heel & 3/4" deep. Plate & screws are included. This is for a project, to be sure. Happy Bidding
