Super Heavy Custom Presets for Guitar Rig 3
If you own Native Instruments Guitar Rig 3 and are after some really heavy guitar sounds then you've come to the right place.
I designed all of these presets myself as I have always been disappointed at the 'heavy' presets of guitar rig. These ones are absolutely brutal - perfect for the heaviest of heavy and extreme metal.
I created them using a guitar with high output active humbucker pickups. If you have a non-active guitar or low output pickups then you might need to adjust the sounds a little as they might be a bit noisy.
All heavy presets are crafted for maximum 'in your face' impact using power chords and palm muting. I've also included tweaked clean (non distorted) versions should you require them, plus an extra set with some bizarre effects.
There are 100 presets in total, with variants based on an original set of 20 (below).
20 x (Heavy) 20 x (Super Heavy) 20 x (Clean) 20 x (FX) 20 x (Lead).
Many of these presets I've created using unconventional methods and a different approach. They are optimised and pushed to the edge without being just uncontrolable noise. I'm confident you won't get a more useable heavier collection of sick guitar tones than this. They are all professional sounding presets and suitable for both live performance and studio recording.
